Job summary

Compleat Environmental is seeking an Environmental Superintendent to lead remediation and abatement projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence. The role oversees scheduling, communications, quality control, and project execution while coordinating between field personnel, management, and customers.

The successful candidate will manage field crews, enforce safety regulations, monitor profitability, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of environmental industry experience (5+ years preferred).
  • Experience managing residential and commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and follow operational direction.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing, as permitted by Pennsylvania law.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.

Position Overview:

The Environmental Superintendent is responsible for leading and supervising remediation and abatement projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This leadership role includes oversight of job scheduling, customer communications, quality control, and project execution. The Superintendent serves as a key liaison between field personnel, management, and customers while fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and service excellence.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of environmental industry experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience managing residential and commercial projects
  • Proven ability to lead teams and follow operational direction
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing, as permitted by Pennsylvania law
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Exposure to varying environments including heat, cold, dust, moisture, and unsanitary conditions once approved for occupancy
  • Year-round outdoor and indoor work in inclement weather
  • Exposure to environmentally safe cleaning agents and industry chemicals
  • Required use of PPE including respirators, gloves, goggles, hard hats, Tyvek suits, and safety vests
Safety Requirements:

This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires strict adherence to all workplace safety policies and procedures. Employees must follow regulatory requirements and use appropriate safety equipment when required. All necessary training and PPE will be provided by the company.
