Job summary

Compleat Restorations is seeking an Environmental Technician to support day-to-day environmental services such as mold remediation and duct cleaning. You will follow directions accurately, work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and show a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

The ideal candidate is a strong team player who aligns with our safety-focused culture and may pursue certifications in asbestos abatement and other environmental services.

• Complete all assignments in a timely manner
• Participate and respond as scheduled to the company’s 24/7 on-call coverage to respond to any/all emergency work, and respond, if available, when needed for larger emergencies.

Position Overview:

The Environmental Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day environmental services operations, including mold remediation, duct cleaning, and other environmental tasks. Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• This position is generally exposed to normal hazards associated with the construction environment.
• This role requires occasional use of safety equipment (e.g. ear protection, goggles, safety glasses, Tyvek suits, high-visibility clothing, gloves, hard hats, and respirators). PPE is provided to the employee.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and crawl
• The employee must be able to work with chemicals, primarily normal, biodegradable, and basic cleaning products, and should not be chemically sensitive.
• The employee will work in a variety of environments, not limited to but may include hot, cold, wet, dirty, clean, and odor-prone conditions. The employee must be able to work in and around soiled, unclean, or unsanitary building and facility structures once those areas have been confirmed safe from health hazards. The position requires the ability to work in inclement or adverse weather conditions year-round.
• This position is considered safety-sensitive, meaning the employee’s performance directly impacts the safety of themselves and others. The employee is considered to be performing a safety-sensitive function during all periods in which they are performing, preparing to perform, or immediately following the completion of assigned job functions.
