Eversource Energy is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to provide environmental support for electric and gas operations within an assigned service area. The role emphasizes OHM releases management, spill response, regulatory compliance, and waste management to support remediation programs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of relevant environmental experience.
• Experience in environmental emergency response, spill response, remediation, and environmental compliance.
• Experience addressing hazardous-material spills and releases with mitigation and cleanup preferred.
• Pathway toward Connecticut DEEP PEP certification.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and reporting requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide environmental oversight and technical support for the assigned service area.
• Respond to OHM releases and manage spill response activities across operations.
• Coordinate environmental contractors and align with electric and gas operations.
• Participate in environmental emergency response on-call rotations, including nights and weekends.
• Prepare release documentation and closure reports per Connecticut DEEP requirements when qualified as a Connecticut PEP.
• Develop and maintain SPCC plans and support environmental assessments and audits.
