  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the organization.
  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, treatment areas, public spaces, offices, and other locations.
  • Support infection prevention by following cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Perform linen distribution, collection, and related services.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining specialized and sterile areas as needed.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Support outdoor maintenance activities, including lawn care and snow removal when required.
  • Complete specialty cleaning tasks and other environmental services duties as directed.
  • Contribute to a positive patient and staff experience through reliable, high-quality service.

As an Environmental Services Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and comfort of everyone who walks through our doors. From maintaining patient and public areas to supporting linen services and specialty cleaning functions, your work helps create an environment where exceptional care can happen. The starting annual salary for this position is $34,312 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.

What You'll Do:
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the organization

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience There are no specific education or experience requirements for appointment to this title; however, candidates must be able to speak and write English to be eligible for appointment and to perform the duties of this position.

NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
