Job summary

The Waters in Pewaukee, WI is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to assist the Environmental Services Manager in maintaining the community’s building, grounds, and overall appearance, delivering service with courtesy, dignity and respect.

You will support housekeeping, grounds and maintenance projects, help set up events, and ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective work orders (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related repairs).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Experience in carpet cleaning, floor care and painting projects strongly preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to walk, climb stairs, bend and squat.
• Able to withstand external weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the housekeeping team
• Assist with grounds and building maintenance projects
• Assist with furniture movement for community event set-up and tear-down
• Assist to ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders are completed on a timely and thorough basis, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, furniture and/or equipment repairs
• Perform other related work activities as needed
