Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to support the upkeep of our community environment and grounds. You will assist the Environmental Services Manager in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming setting for residents and visitors, treating everyone with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

You will help with HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general maintenance tasks, while contributing to a high standard of customer service and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience
• Experience in carpet cleaning, floor care and painting projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the housekeeping team
• Assist with grounds and building maintenance projects
• Assist with furniture movement for community event set-up and tear-down
• Assist to ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders are completed on a timely and thorough basis, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, furniture and/or equipment repairs, picking up trash, keeping common areas neat, sweeping walks and curbs, watering lawn, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds, shoveling walks, sanding and salting icy areas
• Perform other related work activities as needed

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance

Experience in carpet cleaning, floor care and painting projects
