Atrium Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a custodian to perform comprehensive cleaning in patient areas and facility spaces. You will dust, sanitize, wash, and maintain floors, restrooms, and fixtures while adhering to infection control guidelines.

The role involves handling waste, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting maintenance needs. You will work in a dynamic hospital setting with emphasis on safety and timely task completion.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, windows, walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Remains indoors with some outdoor cleaning such as parking lot, windows, and roof; may use a ladder.
• Removes trash and waste, replaces sharps containers, and handles hazardous waste as needed.
• Keeps cleaning equipment clean and reports any equipment issues to maintenance staff.
• Maintains safe environment and adheres to infection control guidelines and department standards.
• Attends required in-service trainings to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines consistently.
