Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas: dusting, sanitizing, washing windows, floors, carpet, restrooms, lighting, and reporting repairs.
• Handles cleaning chemicals and disinfectants; mostly indoor work; may assist with outdoor areas including parking lot and roof; ladder use possible.
• Removes waste: collect/transport soiled linen, trash, sharps, hazardous waste; recycle as needed.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports failures to maintenance staff.
• Maintains safe environment and complies with infection control guidelines and quality standards.
• Attends required in-service education and safety training to maintain technical knowledge.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines consistently.
