Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated environmental services team member to perform comprehensive cleaning of patient and common areas. You will dust, sanitize, wash, sweep, vacuum, restock restrooms, and report repairs as needed.

Work is primarily indoors with potential outdoor duties in parking areas and roofs. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience, with strong teamwork and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize assignments to complete work timely.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, restocking restrooms, replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs.
• Most work indoors; may assist with outdoor cleaning including parking lot, windows, roof.
• Heavy contact with cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Maintains safe working environment and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Attends in-service education and training as required.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines.
