Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic environmental services role maintains environmental and infection control standards across surgical suites, patient rooms, offices and hallways. This 0.8 FTE position offers 32 hours weekly with shifts Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11pm and occasional weekend coverage to meet business needs.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent; CHEST certification is preferred, along with basic infection control practices and prior healthcare cleaning experience.

Job description

The Environmental Service Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of Westfields Hospital & Clinic. The position performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain surgical suites, patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the facility.

FTE: 0.8; 32 hours per week

Shifts Monday-Friday, 230pm-11pm, will vary based on business needs; Required to work every fifth weekend from 6am-230pm

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare cleaning experience
• Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST)
• Basic infection control practices
