Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to disinfect, clean, and maintain the hospital environment across units and clinics in Northfield, MN. You will work varied shifts with the Environmental Services team to ensure a hygienic patient-centered environment.

• Properly use work sheets, time sheets, and logs.
• Prioritize daily work schedule.
• Use a computer for time tracking, emails, and testing.
• Work in all areas of Environmental Services (including laundry, and courier services).
• Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and vacuum; empty trash containers, recycling containers, linen hampers.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms using proper chemicals and techniques.
• Use scrubbers, buffers, carpet machines, vacuums and other powered equipment.
• Properly handle hazardous waste and regulated medical waste.
• Set up cleaning cards and restock Environmental Services closets.

Compensation

We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $18.02–$25.43. This range reflects the base salary for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning/disinfecting/healthcare industry
• Maintain a valid MN driver’s license and driving record that meets NH+C standards
