Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to maintain infection control and cleanliness across surgical suites, patient rooms and common areas. This 0.8 FTE role (32 hours/week) involves a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30pm–11pm, with every fifth weekend required.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent; CHEST certification and healthcare cleaning experience are preferred to support a safe, hygienic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CHEST certification preferred.
• Prior healthcare cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains environmental and infection control standards according to Westfields Hospital & Clinic policies.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to maintain surgical suites, patient rooms, offices, hallways and other areas.
• Works to ensure a clean, safe and compliant healthcare environment.
