Northwest Community Hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Technician II to perform daily cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas, ensuring isolation/terminal cleaning is performed per standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer service in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, safely handling cleaning chemicals, and reporting repairs. Evening and weekend availability may be required to support hospital operations.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.

Aufgaben

• Clean patient rooms and ancillary areas daily per departmental and corporate standards, including disposal of soiled linens and garbage.
• Clean isolation/terminal rooms and equipment as assigned; include negative pressure/airborne areas.
• Prepare and maintain cleaning supplies and ensure chemicals are properly labeled and stored.
• Keep housekeeping carts and equipment clean and orderly on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with the Environmental Services Manager to exchange information and resolve concerns.
• Observe and report any equipment or facility repairs needed.
