Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organise, supervise and direct all environmental service operations to ensure a clean, safe and orderly resident living environment.
• Directs hiring, training and assignment of Environmental Services staff; may participate in promotions/terminations.
• Develops systems for maximizing housekeeping effectiveness and conducts regular inspections.
• Oversees purchases of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment; maintains required records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations; participates in disaster planning and drills.
• Maintains master cleaning plan and evaluates staff performance; manages inventory and supplier orders.
