Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn how to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry and floor care in a long-term care facility.

This 12-week paid program combines hands-on instruction with computer-based training to prepare you for supervision and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Must have computer skills to maintain records and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
