Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. invites you to join as an Environmental Services Manager in Training.

In this 12-week paid program you will learn to manage a long-term care facility's housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations, with hands-on and computer-based training. You will develop leadership, compliance with policies and federal/state requirements, and reporting skills while supporting residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain records and use computer systems for reports.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physically lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous tasks.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Serve as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
