Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training. This 12-week, paid program will train you to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a long-term care facility.

You will learn hands-on operations and computer-based training while developing leadership and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. The role progresses to on-site management of environmental services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants and leadership.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and reports.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
