Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within an established company. Over approximately sixteen weeks, you'll undergo a tailored training program covering:

  • General Training & Comprehension: Hands-on experience with housekeeping, laundry, and equipment operation.
  • Leadership Development: Assisting in staff training, quality control, and compliance.
  • Policies & Procedures: Ensuring quality standards, safety, and customer service adherence.
  • Reporting: Maintaining and delivering reports on operations and expenditures.
  • Training & Quality Control: Responsible for staff training and quality assessments.
  • Leadership: Handling managerial responsibilities such as staffing, payroll, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Communication: Effectively relay directives from management to staff.
  • Safety: Use PPE, follow safety protocols, and report issues promptly.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and respond promptly to communication.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG professionally and courteously.
  • Experience: Demonstrate positive interactions with staff and guests.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership skills post-training to operate independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
  • Must reside in the service area.
