Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program provides a 16-week interactive training experience, combining hands-on and computer-based learning. The program covers:

  • General Training & Comprehension: Performing and teaching cleaning and laundry tasks, operating industrial equipment.
  • Leadership Development: Training in staff support, quality control, and compliance.
  • Policies & Procedures: Ensuring standards, safety, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintaining records on finances, supplies, staff, and equipment.
  • Training & Quality Control: Overseeing staff training and quality assessments.
  • Leadership Skills: Managing payroll, staffing, purchasing, and budgeting.
  • Communication: Convey directives effectively to staff and clients.
  • Safety: Use PPE, handle chemicals safely, and follow infection control procedures.
  • Punctuality: Maintain attendance and respond promptly to communications.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG courteously and professionally.
  • Experience: Maintain positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, and perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership skills post-training, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift/push 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Reside within the service area.
