Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for a hospital in Manchester, NH. The EVS Manager oversees patient room cleaning, throughput, floor care and waste removal while ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The role leads the 2nd Shift EVS Operations and partners with other hospital departments to meet client objectives. Ideal candidates have healthcare EVS management experience, 2–5 years in supervision or 1+ year in management, and strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Healthcare environmental services management experience preferred.
• Up to 2–5 years in a supervisory role or 1+ years in a management role.
• Floor care experience with knowledge of equipment and chemicals.
• Experience managing janitorial, custodial or housekeeping operations.
• Strong leadership behaviors with focus on safety, quality and service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping).
• Oversees Linen Distribution.
• Distributes supplies, holds shift huddles, scheduling and training. Monitors performance.
• Manages floor care, trash removal and biohazardous waste removal, overall cleanliness of the building, and patient room cleaning.
• Conducts rounding with patients, service recovery, quality audits and inspections.
• Communicates and builds relationships with other department leaders.
• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs.

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for an Environmental Services Manager position at a hospital in Manchester, NH. The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible overseeing overall cleanliness, patient room cleaning, managing throughput, floor care and waste removal, while ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.

Aramark offers a comprehensive benefits package along with VAC, PTO and HOL. This position oversees the 2nd Shift EVS Operations.
