Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for a hospital in Manchester, NH. The EVS Manager oversees patient room cleaning, throughput, floor care and waste removal while ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The role leads the 2nd Shift EVS Operations and partners with other hospital departments to meet client objectives. Ideal candidates have healthcare EVS management experience, 2–5 years in supervision or 1+ year in management, and strong leadership,

Qualifications

Healthcare environmental services management experience preferred.
Up to 2–5 years in a supervisory role or 1+ years in a management role.
Floor care experience with knowledge of equipment and chemicals.
Experience managing janitorial, custodial or housekeeping operations.
Strong leadership behaviors with focus on safety, quality and service.
Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping).
Oversees Linen Distribution.
Distributes supplies, holds shift huddles, scheduling and training. Monitors performance.
Manages floor care, trash removal and biohazardous waste removal, overall cleanliness of the building, and patient room cleaning.
Conducts rounding with patients, service recovery, quality audits and inspections.
Communicates and builds relationships with other department leaders.
Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs.
