Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for a hospital in Philadelphia, PA. The EVS Manager will lead housekeeping operations, ensure health and safety standards, and drive cleanliness, bed turnaround, waste and floor care to meet client objectives.

Responsibilities include managing daily EVS operations, staffing, training, quality audits, and cross-department coordination while promoting safety and service excellence in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare environmental services management experience preferred.
• Requires up to 2-5 years in a supervisory role or 1+ years in a management role.
• Floor care experience required; including knowledge of the equipment and chemicals used.
• Experience managing janitorial, custodial or housekeeping operations will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping).
• Oversees Linen Distribution.
• Distributes supplies, holds shift huddles, scheduling and training. Monitors performance.
• Manages floor care, trash removal and biohazardous waste removal, overall cleanliness of the building, and patient room cleaning.
• Conducts rounding with patients, service recovery, quality audits and inspections.
• Communicates and builds relationships with other department leaders.
• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for developing and executing facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met, such as managing overall cleanliness, patient room cleaning, bed turnaround times, waste removal and floor care . Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.
