Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ in Pineville, NC seeks an Environmental Services (EVS) Manager on the 1st shift to lead environmental services operations, ensuring a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors and staff.

You will manage frontline teams, staffing, workflow, quality and productivity, and enforce health, safety, sanitation and infection prevention standards, partnering with site leadership to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in healthcare environmental services.
• Experience in management or supervisory role preferred (up to 2 years).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to join our team in Pineville, NC. This is a 1st shift leadership opportunity responsible for overseeing environmental services operations and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The EVS Manager will lead frontline teams, manage staffing and workflow, monitor quality and productivity, and ensure all health, safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards are consistently met. This role will also partner closely with site leadership to support client expectations, patient experience, regulatory compliance, and overall operational performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Leadership
• - Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit
• - Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved

• - Plan and lead team management meetings
• - Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
• Client Relationship
• - Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport for a mutually beneficial business relationship

• - Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for delivering excellent customer service
• - Facilitate and support new business and retention activities.
• - Develop program (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds or maintenance) to meet client and customer demands and specifications
• Financial Performance
• - Build revenue and manage budget which includes cost controls with regard to labor, supply, and inventory
• - Ensure the completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department
• - Oversight and responsibility to deliver client and company financial targets
• - Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports
• - Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
• Productivity
• - Implement and maintain GM agenda for both labor and total quality management requirements
• - Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
• - Ensure consistent application of Aramark's operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence) with particular focus on efficiencies in sustainability efforts to reduce energy consumption and labor productivity standards
