Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare environmental services management experience preferred.
• Requires up to 2–5 years in a supervisory role or 1+ years in a management role.
• Floor care experience required; including knowledge of the equipment and chemicals used.
• Experience managing janitorial, custodial or housekeeping operations will be considered.
• Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers.

• Distributes supplies, holds shift huddles, scheduling and training. Monitors performance.

• Communicates and builds relationships with other department leaders.
• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for developing and executing facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met, such as managing overall cleanliness, patient room cleaning, bed turnaround times, waste removal and floor care . Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.
