Job summary

Taylor Regional Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide or Floorcare Technician to help maintain clean, safe patient areas during evening and night shifts.

You will perform terminal cleans, restock supplies, operate cleaning equipment, and follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines while working in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Position: Environmental Services Aide or Floorcare Technician

Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule: Full-time position - Evenings/ Nights

Weekend rotations required

Night Shift Differential

What You’ll Do

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, waiting areas, procedure rooms, and other assigned areas in accordance with hospital policies and infection control standards
• Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms following discharge or transfer
• Follows all health, infection control, and safety procedures
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and hospital privacy policies.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and cleaning materials
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including floor machines, vacuums, and carts
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or infection control issues to supervision
• Follow appropriate procedures while doing floor maintenance such as stripping, waxing, and carpet care.
• Assist with inventory of floor chemicals and responsible for all floor areas of the hospital, office, and outside, areas.
• Open to helping in all areas of department as needed.
