Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Environmental Services Technician. This full-time position offers a schedule of 7a-3:30pm with an every-other-weekend rotation and pays up to $19.00 per hour based on experience.

The role involves maintaining a clean environment in patient rooms, offices, nurse stations, and common areas, while assisting in maintaining a safe environment by reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment in patient areas, offices, nurses' stations, and public spaces.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervision to support a safe facility.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposables.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
