Job summary

Taylor Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to join the ER team. You will document patient records, monitor vital signs, and assist providers in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time evening shift requires strong communication, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and maintenance of accurate documentation. BLS and dysrhythmia training are required. SRNA certification is preferred and the hospital offers competitive pay, benefits, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• SRNA certification preferred.
• 1-2+ years of experience required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia within 6 months of hire.
• Non-violent crisis intervention training required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and maintains accurate records.
• Communicates pertinent information regarding patient's progress and needs to appropriate hospital staff, including vital signs, pain level and comfort needs.
• Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, and other team members.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Responds to emergent situations, demonstrates strong skills, and responds appropriately.
• Verifies availability of emergency supplies (i.e., location of crash cart, oxygen tank, suction set-up).
• Accurately performs ER Tech procedures, operates, maintains and troubleshoots equipment in the assigned area.

Location: Emergency Room at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule: Full time position/ 11am-11pm

What You’ll Do
