Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between Vibra and Select Medical, in Bowling Green, KY, seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting patient environment across patient rooms, common areas, and support spaces. You will follow established cleaning protocols and report hazards to ensure a high standard of infection control.

This full-time position offers up to $19.00 per hour based on experience, a comprehensive benefits package,

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, and common spaces.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor to support a safe environment.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels and toilet tissue as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.
