Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Martha's Vineyard Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to provide a clean, sanitary, and pleasant environment to a high standard that supports quality patient care. The role is onsite with a 40-hour work week and daytime shift.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and rooms, restrooms, corridors, laundering and restock, following infection prevention protocols, and assisting with equipment and housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred 0-1 year preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas per supervisor/manager.
• Clean floors, offices, clinical spaces, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and operate floor machines.
• Clean carpets: vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, disinfect.
• Make beds and handle linens; clean rooms and surfaces; empty trash.
