Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated seeks an Environmental Services Aide at Martha's Vineyard Hospital to maintain a clean, sanitary environment and support patient care. You will service floors, rooms, and public areas, follow infection prevention protocols, and assist in disaster and storm response.

Typical duties include shifting through evenings, operating basic equipment, and helping with minor maintenance and security rounds as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0–1 year environmental services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of waste streams and infection prevention protocols.
• Able to drive Hospital vehicle if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary areas including floors, rooms, and common areas to high standards.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist Storm/Disaster Team and be available for storm prep and cleanup.
• Perform minor maintenance and security rounds as needed.
• Move furniture and assist with building changes as required.
