Job summary

CDM Smith in Raleigh is seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern to join our Environmental Services Team. You will support data research, compilation, and analysis, and assist with proofreading and copying technical reports and specifications.

Interns may participate in fieldwork, site investigations, GIS support, and map production, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or a related science degree is required.
Travel up to 10% or less is required.

Responsibilities

Research, compile, and analyze environmental data.
Proofread and copy technical and non-technical reports, specifications, and other documents.
Assist with fieldwork activities such as site investigations and GIS support.
Assist in map production and related tasks.
