Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Environmental Services team in Wayne, PA. You’ll work with a team of leading engineers on diverse environmental projects, gaining hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to research environmental information, build analyses, and develop presentations. Exposure to ArcGIS, CAD, Excel, and Access will support the project work and your learning journey.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
• 10% or less travel is required.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects.
• Students will work closely with senior engineers to research environmental information to support analyses and design.
• They will evaluate data to determine usability in for analyses and modeling.
• Students will also assist in developing documents and presentations to disseminate study information, and may assist with fieldwork to collect environmental data.
