Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Intern or Co-Op to join our Tampa team. You’ll work with a dynamic group of engineers on municipal, federal, and industrial projects.

As an intern, you will research engineering solutions to support analyses, reporting, and design, and help develop documents using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD and Excel, with potential fieldwork for construction management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Masters in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a dynamic team on municipal, federal, and industrial projects.
• Research engineering solutions to support analyses, reporting, and design.
• Develop documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD and Excel.
• Assist with fieldwork for construction management activities to gain full project lifecycle experience.
