Job summary

Pace’s Beaver, WV laboratory is hiring a Scientist I to perform hands-on analyses in environmental testing. You’ll work Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, analyzing air, water, and soil samples with GC, HPLC, ICP, and related methods. A BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry or equivalent is required; Pace provides PPE and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related fields.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP to analyze air, water, and soil samples.
• Review and interpret analytical results.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
