Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analysis with GC, HPLC, ICP, and related instruments to ensure accurate environmental data.

We value a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a STEM field and the ability to work safely in a lab, standing for extended periods and using PPE. This is a full-time, hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field or equivalent.
• Ability to perform laboratory tasks and follow PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and related instruments for sample analysis.
• Analyze air, water and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret the results of analyses.
• Document procedures, observations and results clearly.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
