Job summary

Environmental Research Group, LLC (ERG) seeks an Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Compliance Team to support a variety of environmental compliance projects. The role includes fieldwork, regulatory research, report writing, permitting support, site visits, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should bring a strong environmental background, be able to travel roughly one week per month (and some international travel), and be eligible for DoW processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field; Master's, PE, and/or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal environmental programs; DoW experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, writing skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and be responsive.
• Flexibility to serve in multiple roles and teams depending on the client and project.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical projects and conduct regulatory research.
• Write reports and support permitting process; conduct site visits and surveys.
• Collaborate with a team while prioritizing clients' needs and deadlines.
• Travel average one week per month for fieldwork and site visits; some international travel.
