Job summary

ERM seeks a Consultant, Scientist to deliver environmental and sustainability solutions for energy-sector clients. You will work with Project Managers and senior consultants to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality delivery.

Lead fieldwork, prepare wetlands/stormwater/NPDES/wastewater plans and reports, and support environmental impact assessments and compliance actions. Travel as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental studies, or related science (8+ years).
• 2-3 years (5 years preferred) of environmental consulting experience.
• Strong commitment to health and safety in field and office.
• Travel as projects demand; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on environmental impact assessments and sustainability projects.
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for wetlands, stormwater, NPDES, and wastewater programs.
• Conduct environmental compliance assessments and support corrective actions.
• Perform fieldwork, including ecological site assessments.
• Deliver general environmental compliance support and on-site client assistance.
• Compile and interpret environmental data; support high-quality reports.
• Execute tasks within scope, budget, schedule; uphold ERM quality standards.
• Collaborate with Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers for client value.
