Job summary

Environmental Research Group, LLC (ERG) is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Compliance Team to support a variety of environmental compliance projects. When not performing work at various project sites, this position can be based anywhere in the USA with preference given to candidates within an hour commute of a regional or international airport.

The role involves travel about one week per month for fieldwork, sometimes international, and duties include planning,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science (or closely related field)
• Experience with federal environmental programs; DoW knowledge a plus
• Pass DoW security clearances, background checks, and obtain a passport

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical environmental projects.
• Conduct regulatory research and write reports.
• Support permitting processes and conduct site visits.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to client needs.
• Travel about one week per month for fieldwork (and some international travel).
