Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an Environmental Science Analyst in Oklahoma City to support regulatory and project work with 1+ years of experience. This is not a remote position and requires fieldwork with travel 10-30%.

You will assist managers across disciplines, develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, and contribute to wetland and species permitting efforts while delivering technical reports.

Qualifications

• 1+ years relevant experience, including state and federal wetland and species permitting requirements
• Proven ability in ecological field work and wetland delineation
• Strong writing skills and ability to prepare detailed technical reports
• Willingness to travel for projects and work in both office and field settings
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented team player with initiative and urgency to support clients

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems and support project managers, collaborating across disciplines.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Gain knowledge in natural resources, water quality, wetlands, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, GIS, and environmental science.
• Travel and fieldwork may be required (approximately 10-30%).
