Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Cary, NC is seeking Environmental Science graduates to join our office. This is not a remote position and offers opportunities to work across disciplines.

You will develop knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, and Kimley-Horn's client practices, procedures, and standards. You may travel 10-30% for fieldwork to gain hands-on experience in natural resources and GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems and collaborate across disciplines to support client visions for the built environment.
• Familiarize with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
• Gain knowledge in natural resource regulations, water quality, wetlands, botany and soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, GIS and environmental science.
• Some travel and fieldwork may be required (approximately 10-30%).
