Job summary

APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Seattle, WA area team. The role blends office and fieldwork (about 50/50) focusing on environmental compliance across RCRA and state hazardous waste programs, audits, and related regulatory tasks.

The successful candidate will prepare technical reports, conduct analyses, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, science-based solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• 3–4 years of related work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and data management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint Online.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage diverse work scopes to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Collect, interpret, and evaluate scientific data for reports.
• Conduct field work and inspections; travel to client facilities as needed.
• Draft technical documents for regulatory agencies and clients.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies and client personnel.
• Maintain adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
