Job summary

Environmental Works, Inc. seeks an Associate Scientist - Compliance to perform permit-based sampling, SPCC/SWPPP inspections, and regulatory reporting. You will review data, coordinate with project managers, and support ISO 14001 audits in a safe, team-oriented setting.

The role requires an undergraduate science/engineering degree, a valid driver's license, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training. Full-time with flexible hours and field/office duties.

Qualifications

• Work independently and efficiently.
• Valid Driver's License required for insurability.
• Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement permit parameters for sampling across industries.
• Perform SPCC and SWPPP inspections of regulated areas and outfalls.
• Review analytical sampling data and report exceedances to managers.
• Track inspections, sampling requirements, CARs and communications with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
• Support ISO 14001 and other regulatory audits as needed.
