Hudbay is seeking an environmental professional to support field procedures and site plans for chemical and waste management at our Arizona operations. You will review contractor proposals for SOP alignment, assess new chemical products, and work with the Project team to ensure construction activities comply with environmental plans and permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, geology, natural resources, or a related science field.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• 2–3 years of experience in environmental-related field preferred.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro is a plus.
• Proficiency in communicating with diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop field procedures and site plans for chemical and waste management.
• Review contractor proposals for SOP alignment.
• Review new chemical products prior to site approval.
• Coordinate with Project team to ensure construction complies with environmental plans and permits.
• Coordinate planning, project execution and data analyses for environmental studies with senior staff.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and perform related compliance tasks.
• Conduct field inspections and coordinate with staff, contractors, and consultants.
• Lead installation, operation and maintenance of scientific equipment.
