Job summary

Ayres Midwestern Environmental is seeking an Environmental Scientist to support our Development Services Division. The role focuses on Brownfield projects in Wisconsin and beyond, including site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and remediation activities with a team of experienced project managers.

You will travel locally and nationally for field assignments, assist with regulatory compliance, and help prepare technical reports and grant proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology or environmental earth science required.
• Strong technical writing and data management skills expected.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally, including overnight stays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations, groundwater and landfill monitoring, soil and soil vapor sampling, remediation efforts, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct Phase I/II ESA tasks, site inspections, monitoring well installation oversight, and sampling.
• Interpret environmental data and assist with technical reports, figures, and tables.
• Travel locally and nationally for short-term field assignments.
• Help schedule and track project tasks to meet technical and financial goals.
• Assist with Brownfield-related research and grant writing.
