Job summary

Ayres Associates is seeking an innovative professional to develop, organize, track deliverables, and budgets for brownfield redevelopment projects across the US. You will work with a diverse team of planners, engineers, and economists to revitalize previously developed sites and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing clients, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering Phase I/II assessments, cleanup planning, and redevelopment workplans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or geological engineering, environmental science, geology, planning, project management, economic development, or design.
• Minimum of eight years of brownfield consulting experience.
• Ability to travel occasionally (overnight stays) in and out of state.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors per Federal and State regulations.
• Ability to follow health and safety requirements on project sites.
• Understanding of environmental site assessments, redevelopment planning, and cleanup.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of clients and help grow brownfield service offerings across the US.
• Schedule and monitor project work and deliverables ensuring financial performance.
• Coordinate a diverse group to complete environmental assessment and redevelopment plans.
• Participate in client meetings, research, and related activities.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure project success and deliverables.
• Delegate tasks within project teams and develop deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, contracts, and permits.
• Collaborate with Urban Planners, Economic Development Pros, Landscape Architects, and Engineers.
