What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct evaluations of county and city delegation agreements to ensure compliance with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality standards
- Interpret the Arizona Administrative Code and relevant Arizona Revised Statutes
- Act as the primary point of contact for county and city delegations on rule clarifications and permitting expertise
- Provide consultancy to advise on program development through strong research and collaboration skills
- Perform additional duties as assigned

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field; a Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience or a Doctorate may substitute for 5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in hydrology, geology, environmental engineering/sciences/management, chemistry, law, or sustainability
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of State and Federal environmental regulations and best practices for pollution prevention
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports and summaries

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional registration through the Arizona Board of Technical Registration or an equivalent organization in a reciprocal jurisdiction
- Experience in environmental research, investigation techniques, and statistical analysis
