VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC offers an Environmental Science Intern role focused on supporting compliance, field operations, data collection and sustainability initiatives. You will work with environmental leaders and gain hands-on experience in environmental health and safety practices.

The internship involves data analysis, regulatory documentation, site inspections, and cross-functional collaboration to drive waste reduction and sustainability projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Natural Resources, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Junior or Senior status by fall of 2027.
• 3.0 GPA
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Support environmental compliance activities and regulatory documentation.
• Participate in facility inspections, audits, and field observations.
• Assist with sustainability and waste reduction initiatives.
• Review environmental permits, policies, and procedures.
• Support environmental project management activities and tracking.
• Compile and analyze environmental performance metrics.
• Assist with research related to environmental regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with operations, safety, and environmental teams on special projects.
• Prepare presentations and reports for leadership review.
