Job summary

Jacobs invites a Sustainability and Environmental Compliance Intern to join our US-based team. You will support a multidisciplinary group of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers delivering environmental services on schedule and within budget.

You will gain hands-on experience in air and greenhouse gas data analysis, reporting, regulatory reviews, and field activities with up to 50% fieldwork and possible travel. This role blends learning with meaningful real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Completed at least two years of college coursework.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to perform field activities and travel if needed.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers on environmental projects.
• Conduct data analysis, including air and greenhouse gas emissions.
• Create technical reports documenting activities and results.
• Review regulations and prepare compliance demonstrations.
• Plan and execute field activities: observations, audits, soil and groundwater sampling.
• Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts.
