Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Science Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Earth & Environment Team in Roseville, CA or San Francisco, CA. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real projects while working with senior staff.

Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Natural Resources or related fields will support field data collection, data analysis, and project documentation, with the possibility

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an accredited Environmental Science or related undergraduate program with an Aug 2027 or later graduation date.
Must be 18 years or older.
Interest in Environmental Science and related field to contribute to projects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse audiences.
Capable of taking direction from mentors and managers.
Basic proficiency with technical writing and office software/tools.
Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.

Responsibilities

Support environmental science tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
Learn basic principles of Environmental Science.
Assist with field data collection, data analysis, and project execution.
Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
Complete training on assigned tasks.
Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs.
