Job summary
VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking an Environmental Science Intern to support regulatory compliance, field operations, and sustainability initiatives across our waste and environmental services divisions. You will assist with data collection, analysis, reporting, and interdepartmental collaboration on special projects.
Ideal candidates are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Natural Resources, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Junior or Senior status by fall of 2027.
- 3.0 GPA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support environmental compliance activities and regulatory documentation.
- Participate in facility inspections, audits, and field observations.
- Assist with sustainability and waste reduction initiatives.
- Review environmental permits, policies, and procedures.
- Support environmental project management activities and tracking.
- Compile and analyze environmental performance metrics.
- Assist with research related to environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with operations, safety, and environmental teams on special projects.
- Prepare presentations and reports for leadership review.
